How Payment Works

Once your trip has been confirmed per the dates you’ve requested after submitting a booking inquiry, we will either send you an invoice, or confirm your online order using the website. Usually, you will be required to pay a 20% deposit to secure your trip dates. 30 days before your trip starts, we will request the remainder of the payment.

If you are submitting the inquiry within 30 days of the scheduled start of the trip date, you will be required to pay the total amount using credit card.

Payment Options

Unlike other tour groups which ask you to wire large sums to an African Bank Account, or request that you bring your sums via cash, we accept credit or debit card via PayPal (please note: there is a 10% surcharge for online payments). This safe payment method protects you as a buyer, and brings you peace of mind that the money is transferred safely. Furthermore, credit card transactions are protected by your bank’s dispute center. You do not have to worry about whether your payment is refundable or not, nor do you have to worry about the liability of carrying large amounts of cash on a plane to Africa.

Cancellations / Refund Policy

If you’d like to cancel your trip, we will offer a full refund if the cancellation takes place outside of the 30 days window from the start of the trip.

If you cancel within the 30 days of your trip, there will be a 35% cancellation fee; this is due to the fees required to pay for park, lodging, etc., ahead of time. Such fees are not refundable to us.
